1. Agreement Between User and Dominion Lending Centres Homestead Financial
Please read this agreement (“Agreement”) carefully before accessing or using this website (https://homesteadfinancial.ca/). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. Dominion Lending Centres Homestead Financial (Ontario Mortgage Broker Licence #11711) and its suppliers provide the information and services on this Site to you, the user, conditioned on your acceptance without modification of the terms, conditions, and notices contained herein.
2. Informational Purposes Only; Not a Binding Offer
The information and services offered on this Site are provided with the understanding that neither Dominion Lending Centres Homestead Financial nor its suppliers are engaged in rendering legal or other professional advice. Submitting an inquiry, utilizing our calculators, or completing an online form does not constitute a binding offer to lend or an approval for a mortgage. All mortgage approvals are subject to underwriting guidelines and final lender approval. No interest rate is guaranteed unless a separate mortgage pre-approval application is submitted and accepted by a mortgage lender.
3. "The Service is Free" Disclosure
In most cases, the service provided by our mortgage brokers is free to you, as we are paid by the lender when the mortgage funds. The commission paid to a mortgage broker is based on the size of the mortgage. This applies to all ‘A’ lenders. When speaking in terms of ‘B’ lending (also known as sub-prime lending) and private lending, these lenders often do not pay the mortgage broker and thus a brokerage fee is charged. This is fully disclosed upfront so you can make an informed decision. This fee can be added into the mortgage so it does not need to come out of your pocket. We look at ‘B’ lending or private lending as an option only when you do not qualify for ‘A’ lending. Again, everything is discussed in detail upfront so there are no surprises.
4. Personal and Non-Commercial Use Limitation
You may access, download, and print materials on this Site for your personal and non-commercial use. You may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, frame in another webpage, use on any other website, transfer, or sell any information, software, calculators, or services obtained from this Site. The practices of “screen scraping” or “database scraping” to obtain lists of users or other information are expressly prohibited.

10. Governing Law and Miscellaneous
This website is applicable to and should only be used by persons 18 years of age or older located within Canada. Access and use of this website by persons under the age of 18 or from locations outside of Canada is prohibited.
This Agreement and the resolution of any dispute related to this Agreement or this Site shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any legal action or proceeding related to this Agreement shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Ontario. Failure by Dominion Lending Centres Homestead Financial to insist upon strict enforcement of any provision of this Agreement shall not be construed as a waiver of any provision or right.
