4. Brokerage Fees and Compensation

We believe in total transparency regarding how we are compensated. In most cases, the services provided by our mortgage brokers are completely free to you. When dealing with ‘A’ lenders, our brokerage is paid a commission directly by the lender when your mortgage funds, based on the size of the mortgage.

When dealing with ‘B’ lenders (sub-prime lending) or private lenders, the lender typically does not pay the mortgage broker. In these instances, a brokerage fee is charged. We will only explore ‘B’ or private lending options if you do not qualify for ‘A’ lending. If a fee applies, it will be fully disclosed and discussed with you upfront so you can make an informed decision. Often, this fee can be rolled into the mortgage so it does not require out-of-pocket payment. There will never be hidden surprises.

5. Privacy

- Severability: If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that specific provision shall be deemed severed from this Agreement and will not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

- Entire Agreement: This Agreement, along with our Privacy Policy, constitutes the entire agreement between you and DLC Homestead Financial regarding your use of the Site.

- Waiver: Any failure by DLC Homestead Financial to strictly enforce any provision of this Agreement shall not be considered a waiver of that right or provision.
